Allright. I took these pictures in the Cote d'Azur, France. We went to an excellent camping near Toulon. Camp Du Domaine. Probably the best camping in the Cote d'Azur. It uses an area of 45 ha. That's pretty big. If you have to walk from one side of the camping to the other, you'd be walking about half an hour. The best thing you can imagine, is this: it's a very big hill with lots of camping sites on it. You have a view of the sea from almost every spot. The spots that are not on the seaside of the hill don't have this view, ofcourse. Anyway, I'd used to get up pretty early. I would see the sunrise. A big orange sky is hanging over the water, reflecting the big ball of light right onto the surface of the water. After enyoying the sunrise, I'd take my snorkling stuff and just head for the beach. Then, after putting the weird-looking snorkle glasses on my nose, I'd put on my flippers. The first time I did this was pretty hard. The damn things were made of strong rubber. My fingers used to get stuck between my feet and the flippers. Well, the big solution was ofcourse: first, jump into the water. And second, put the flippers on. Anyway, I'd get my little photocamera I hired by noon and shoot some pics! It was a very bad camera, so don't be impressed...

This is the most common underwaterlandscape you'd see near the camping. Since I saw this, I'd snorkle all day 'till I found out that I was heavily burned on my back.

The fish you're seeing here, was a young one. The older fish of this species can reach a size, that's about three times the size of this little fella.

If I didn't scare you people enough with my pic on the main page, then I'll try again here.

I'd usually do this. If you stay calm, fishes come closer and you can stay under water for about a minute with a depth of 4 meters. If you go deeper, you can't hold your breath for 1 minute. That's at least what I experienced.

The rocky areas.  I didn't expect so many fish there. They search for food there all day.

It's pretty hard sometimes to take a picture without having trouble with the sunlight with this simple camera. I recently bought one of my own, so the next pictures should be a lot better.

This is a beautiful pic. Really. It's just not very sharp. This is caused by the sunlight (yeh, blame the sun!).

You don't have to stick your head to your monitor to see the little wire in the water. No, this is not any wire attached to a fishing hook. It's the crap that the fish is shitting. So watch out for those 'wires' next time.

This happens a lot. Pretty much fish get together and form a new school.

Again, we are confronted with sunlight...
